Functions/Responsibilities
Resolving Grievances: The cell offers SC, ST, and OBC students a forum to voice grievances about unfair treatment, harassment, or discrimination in both academic and non-academic contexts.
Fair Treatment: It guarantees that the college abides by rules and guidelines created to safeguard the rights and interests of students who identify as SC, ST, or OBC. These rules and regulations include ensuring that these students have equal access to opportunities, facilities, and educational resources.
Offering Support: The cell provides a range of support services, including as advocacy, counseling, and help with institutional grievance procedures.
Raising Awareness: It aims to inform college students about inclusive practices and policies while also raising awareness of the rights of SC, ST, and OBC students.
